Nooshin Mobasseri
Nooshin (Maryam) Mobasseri (b. 1977, Tehran) discovered painting as a refuge during the turbulent years following the Islamic Revolution and the Iran-Iraq War. In 1999, she left nursing studies to pursue her passion for art, earning a Master’s degree from The Art University of Tehran. Her journey took her from Iran to Malaysia and Hong Kong, where the multicultural environment shaped her artistic vision. After nearly seven years in Hong Kong’s design technology education sector, she moved to the U.S. in 2023, continuing to teach art while drawing inspiration from her students and exploring visual communication through her work.
